Judy Christie is the President of the Christie Design Group she has been directly involved in providing consulting Engineering design and Project Management services in the Washington DC area for many years as Vice President of John J Christie & Associates Consulting Engineers. Ms Christie manages the MEP design including all inputs, coordination and deliverables to achieve the time, cost and quality objectives.
• Plan, manage, lead and control Mechanical, electrical and plumbing team.
• Lead problem solving and resolution of design issue.
Ms. Christie works directly with clients to ensure quality control and that the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Ms. Christie's background is Architectural Engineering and is a graduate of the University of Miami and M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Maryland.

John J. Christie & Associates provided MEP services on many iconic projects in Washington DC. The prestigious Washington Convention Center, Verizon Center, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Terminal (Caesar Pelli), Orlando International Airport, Blue Plains Waste Water Treatment Plant electrical modernization (WASA), the MCI sports arena (Ellerbe Becket), and the New Washington Convention Center (TVS). Mr. Christie has performed Mechanical/Electrical/Fire Protection Engineering and Program Management/ Owner’s Representative services on behalf of the Washington Metropolitan Airport Authority and the Greater Orlando Airport Authority for over many years under open-end, multi-discipline, and task order contracts.
Mr. Christie has achieved a continuous and successful record of performance of sub consultant prime MEP engineering services including facilities condition assessments to large, nationally respected architectural firms for major A/E contracts with NAVFAC; USAF; Government of the District of Columbia; Smithsonian Institutes; WASA; Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority (MWAA); Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA); Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA); U.S. Navy: GSA; Department of Labor; Maryland Department of General Services; City of Baltimore; City of Richmond; and over 18 Universities in five states.
